SERENITY LAUNDRY

Terms of Service

Effective: October 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Serenity Laundry’s website, mobile app, or laundry services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use our services. Serenity Laundry reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and updates will take effect once posted on our website.

2. Services Provided

Serenity Laundry offers professional laundry pickup, washing, folding, and delivery services, available Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Services may include one-time orders or monthly subscription plans. We make every effort to ensure timely service but are not responsible for delays

caused by weather, traffic, or other events beyond our control.

3. Customer Accounts & Eligibility

To use certain features (like subscriptions or scheduling), customers must create an account with accurate, up-to-date information. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

4. Deposits & Payments

All one-time pickups require a $20 deposit to secure the booking. This deposit is applied to the final bill

but becomes non-refundable once the driver is dispatched. Subscription plans are billed automatically each month using the payment method on file. All payments are non-refundable, though Serenity Laundry may issue store credits for future use in eligible cases. Customers are responsible for

ensuring successful payment processing.

5. Pickup & Delivery Policy

Customers must ensure their clothes are ready and accessible at the scheduled pickup time. Drivers can wait a maximum of 5 minutes before marking a pickup as missed. If a pickup is missed, the $20

deposit is forfeited, and the customer must reschedule with a new deposit. All deliveries are typically completed within 24–48 hours unless otherwise stated.

6. Laundry Handling & Care

Serenity Laundry handles every item with care. However, we are not responsible for: Items left in pockets (cash, jewelry, keys, etc.), pre-existing damage, color bleeding, or shrinkage due to manufacturer defects, or fragile fabrics not disclosed prior to service. Customers must inform Serenity of any special fabric instructions before pickup.

 

7. Lost or Damaged Items

If an item is missing or damaged, customers must report it within 24 hours of delivery via phone or email. Serenity Laundry will investigate within 24–48 hours. If confirmed lost, Serenity may offer a replacement item or store credit up to the item’s fair market value. Cash refunds are not issued.

 

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Customers may reschedule or cancel a pickup up to 1 hour before the scheduled time without losing their deposit. After three cancellations or reschedules, the deposit becomes non-refundable. If a driver

has already been dispatched, the $20 deposit will not be refunded.

 

9. Conduct & Service Refusal

Serenity Laundry expects all clients to treat our staff with professionalism and respect. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any customer who uses abusive language, engages in fraudulent claims, or repeatedly violates company policies. Such customers may be permanently

removed from service without refund.

10. Liability Disclaimer

Serenity Laundry’s total liability for any claim, including loss or damage, is limited to 10 times the cleaning cost of the affected item. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Customers agree to indemnify Serenity Laundry against any claims resulting from misuse of our

services.

11. Data & Privacy

Serenity Laundry complies with Massachusetts Data Privacy Law (201 CMR 17.00) and will never sell or share personal data. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration or in a Massachusetts state court.
